Disability Rights and Culture (DRC)

A person with a light-coloured tan hoodie, with their arms raised above their head, holding the top of the hoodie with a small smile. They have a a black prosthetic on their right hand. Behind them is a light-coloured background, and a swirl with gradients of green, pink and red that match our Disability Rights and Culture logo.

At Disability Rights and Culture (DRC), we fight for disability justice, celebrate disability pride, and connect people in the community to build disability culture—together.

Formerly called the Disability Resource Centre, DRC is disability-led, radically inclusive Disabled People’s Organisation uniting disabled people across cultures, identities and experiences.

Alongside building disability culture and community, we also provide individual disability advocacy and fight for systemic change, leading Victoria’s disability rights movement.

“We do this ’till we free us.”
