I have a vision impairment and use a white cane when walking out in public.
I am frightened that one of my feet will slip in to the gap between the platform and the train and get stuck.
If this problem was fixed, it would mean that I could and would travel more often because the fear and anxiety usually associated with getting on and off the train would be gone.
@Melissaforwilliamstown, as COVID lockdown subsides, I am asking you to end #LifelongLockdown for Victorians with disabilities by making a fully accessible public transport system an urgent priority. #WeHavePlacesToGo@luke.donnellan @JacintaAllanMP
