our vision

A world where people with disabilities have ultimate inclusion.

[Ultimate = best achievable or imaginable of its kind; a final or fundamental fact or principle]

our mission

With our strength of experience living with disabilities, we work together to promote our rights and choices and challenge systems to achieve social and economic inclusion.

history

Disability Resources Centre (DRC) was founded in 1981.

Our aim is to ensure that all Victorians with disabilities enjoy the same right and life opportunities as other members of society.

organisation

DRC is a member-driven campaigning and advocacy organisation managed and staffed by people with disabilities.

We are currently funded by the State Government Office for Disability to provide individual advocacy for adults with disabilities.

We are also funded by State Trustees, City of Melbourne and Maribyrnong City Council to run Belong, the disability-led network that brings our community together.
